Sherry Ross advises clients in the communications and technology sectors on compliance, licensing, and transactional matters before the FCC and other regulatory agencies at the federal, state, and local levels. She stays actively engaged with the legal and policy developments that shape the communications landscape, particularly as new technologies and regulatory frameworks emerge.
Before joining Lerman Senter, Sherry worked at the FCC in both the Wireline Competition Bureau and the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau, where she gained firsthand experience with broadband infrastructure, mapping initiatives, universal service programs, and telecommunications services regulation. Notably, she helped stand up the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), supporting efforts to expand broadband access for underserved communities.
Sherry assists clients with regulatory compliance projects, including preparing FCC applications, advising on broadband and telecommunications service obligations, and drafting comments and advocacy filings in FCC proceedings.
