Brian Madden specializes in representing radio and television station owners in all aspects of regulatory matters before the FCC and other governmental agencies, and in transactions involving the purchase and sale of broadcast properties.
Before entering private practice, Brian worked in the Broadcast Bureau of the FCC, where he gained familiarity with the daily workings of the Commission. In his many years of practice, Brian has used his experience at the FCC to the advantage of his clients.
Brian has been a member of the Federal Communications Bar Association's FCC Enforcement Practice Committee, the Committee on Professional Responsibility, the Mass Media Practice Committee, and the Transactional Practice Committee. He is a past president of the Capitol Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (JDRF), and was named JDRF’s International “Volunteer of the Year.” Brian has also served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Round House Theatre in Bethesda, Maryland, and served on the Executive Committee of the Round House Board and as Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee.
