Lerman Senter Recognized as Anchor Employer of Inaugural FCBA Diversity Pipeline Program

Lerman Senter is proud to support the Federal Communications Bar Association’s inaugural Diversity Pipeline Program (DPP) as an Anchor Employer. Lerman Senter is one of only ten law firms that have committed to hire a diverse first-year law student for a paid summer associate position as part of the FCBA’s comprehensive program to promote diversity in Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) Law. The DPP will provide training, networking, and mentorship opportunities with leaders in the TMT field, and paid employment opportunities for diverse first-year law students.

Jenell Trigg, Member and the firm’s Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, remarked that “Lerman Senter’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion has been an inherent part of the firm’s operations and culture for years. This unique FCBA program is innovative and will help to ensure that our TMT Bar reflects America.”

Lerman Senter is a longstanding supporter of the FCBA’s diversity efforts. Several members of the firm have been part of the FCBA’s leadership team. Sally Buckman, Lerman Senter’s Managing Member, has served on the FCBA Executive Committee and as a Trustee of the FCBA Foundation. Lerman Senter attorneys have served as co-chairs of numerous FCBA committees and have assisted with programs sponsored by the FCBA Foundation, including the FCBA Charity Auction, the FCBA Foundation Scholarship Program, and a variety of community activities. Jenell received the FCBA Distinguished Service Award. Jenell is also a member of the FCC Advisory Committee on Diversity and Digital Empowerment, representing the Wireless Internet Service Providers Association, a trade association of fixed wireless providers.
