Lerman Senter Attorneys Featured as Panelists, Moderators for WISPAmerica

Lerman Senter attorneys are featured as panelists and moderators at WISPAmerica, the Wireless Internet Service Providers Association (“WISPA”) annual event, where they will discuss prevalent issues in the fixed wireless internet service industry. WISPAmerica will take place from April 26 to 29, 2021.

S. Jenell Trigg and Rebecca Jacobs Goldman will discuss important statutes and regulatory regimes for up-and-coming wireless internet service providers, during the April 27^th Breakout Session called “Rules to Know When Getting Started.” Rebecca will also discuss COVID federal funding programs available for service providers and how they can affect business models, as well as pending legislation, during the April 28^th Breakout Session called “Federal Funding During Pandemic: EBB Program, E-Rate, NTIA Grants.”

During the April 27^th Breakout Session called “Spectrum Update: 5.9GHz, 6GHz, CBRS, EBS, and More,” Steve Coran will discuss upcoming FCC proceedings that will offer spectrum for use. Steve will also serve as a panelist for “Understanding the Subsidy Landscape: How the Government is Affecting Your Business” on April 28^th, and will moderate “Issues in Selling and Buying a WISP” on April 29^th.
