Lerman Senter Announces Jeff Carlisle as New Managing Member and Steve Berman as New Member

Lerman Senter is pleased to announce that, effective January 1, 2025, Jeff Carlisle succeeded Sally Buckman as Managing Member and Steve Berman became a Member of the firm.

Sally joined Lerman Senter over 35 years ago and served as its Managing Member since 2017. Under her leadership, Lerman Senter has continued to be recognized as one of the top communications law firms in Washington, DC, serving clients in an expanding array of media, broadband, utilities, satellite and technology industries.

Sally’s title will change to Senior Counsel and she looks forward to continuing to advise clients in the media industry, many of whom she has worked with for decades.

Jeff joined Lerman Senter in 2019, specializing in wireless, wireline and satellite regulatory matters before the FCC and other federal and state agencies, as well as governance advice to non-profits and trade associations.

Jeff will be joined on the firm’s Management Committee by Steve Coran, head of the firm’s Broadband, Spectrum, and Communications Infrastructure Practice, and by newly elevated Committee member Rebecca Jacobs Goldman, head of the firm’s Privacy, Data Protection, and Cybersecurity Practice.

Lerman Senter is also pleased to announce that Steve Berman, who joined in 2023 as Counsel, has become the firm’s newest Member. Steve has over twenty years of experience in regulatory, licensing, and spectrum policy work for satellite, wireless and telecommunications providers.
