FY 2024 FCC Regulatory Fees Due September 26, 2024

Payment of FCC regulatory fees for Fiscal Year 2024 (which cover the period October 1, 2023 – September 30, 2024) is due by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on Thursday, September 26, 2024. Payments received after the deadline will be subject to an automatic 25% late fee and interest charges.

Complete regulatory fee information for FY 2024 can be found here. The general regulatory fee schedule can be found in Appendix C to the FCC’s Regulatory Fee Report and Order. Regulatory fee payments must be initiated using CORES.

The FCC has made changes to its fee policies since last year, including ending the presumption that dark and silent broadcast stations are experiencing financial hardship that justifies waiving their regulatory fees, and ending temporary relief measures that were implemented in response to COVID-19. Licensees that need to seek a waiver, deferral, or installment plan for their regulatory fees should file their requests with the FCC as soon as possible, and must provide all financial documentation to support their requests at the time of filing.
