FCC Extends Deadline for January Public File Uploads

The FCC is extending to January 31, 2023 the deadline for radio and television stations to upload issues programs reports, and any other documents that may be due in the month of January, to their online public inspection files. In a Public Notice, the FCC acknowledged that its Online Public Inspection File (OPIF) system is having technical problems and said the extension will not impact the FCC’s or the public’s review of licensee compliance.

While the FCC extended the deadline through January 31, it also encouraged licensees to upload documents as soon as practicable.
