The FCC is raising the cost to file broadcast applications with the Commission. The FCC has announced a new schedule of application fees that will take effect later this summer or in early fall. The cost to file most applications will increase 3.7%. Here are some examples of the fees for common applications:

Special Temporary Authority Applications | $190.00 | $200.00 |
Transfer of Control Applications (Long Form) | $1,070.00 | $1,110.00 |
Transfer of Control Applications (Short Form) | $155.00 | $160.00 |
Assignment of License Application (Long Form) | $1,070.00 | $1,110.00 |
Assignment of License Application (Short Form) | $155.00 | $160.00 |
The new application fees will become effective 30 days after the Order is published in the Federal Register.
