Grant Lukas helps Lerman Senter clients expand their business into new states by ensuring they comply with state public utility commission rules and general business licensing requirements, and that they correctly file applications to provide services in the new states.
His core legal background is in telecommunications law. Grant spent a summer as an associate with a telecommunications law firm, gaining experience in client advocacy before the Federal Communications Commission. He spent a semester interning with the Federal Communications Commission’s Wireline Competition Bureau as a member of its Competition Policy Division. Prior to joining Lerman Senter, Grant gained additional legal experience in patent prosecution and litigation, assisting clients in the pharmaceutical and biosimilar industries to acquire patent protection and defend their patent rights.
Grant is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, where he took classes in communications law and policy, cyber law, and internet privacy. He was an executive member of Georgetown’s Entertainment and Media Law Journal.
