FCC Forms 399 and 1876 Are Due October 15th for Reimbursement of Expenses for LPTV/TV Translator and FM Stations Affected by Repacking Process
LPTV, TV Translator, and FM stations that have or will incur expenses in the spectrum repacking process have until October 15, 2019 to submit the initial forms for reimbursement. In order to file for reimbursement, stations must submit the following forms to the FCC by October 15:
- Form 399, demonstrating eligibility and providing reimbursement estimates; and
- Form 1876, providing banking information.
Stations that do not file these forms by October 15 cannot seek repack expense reimbursement. The forms can take significant time to complete, and the banking form must be signed and notarized, so stations should plan accordingly.
