FCC Announces Price Reductions for Certain RND Plans

The FCC has announced price reductions for certain Reassigned Numbers Database (RND) subscription plans, to take effect on April 3, 2023. The price reductions will apply to annual subscriptions in all tiers, and to top-tier subscriptions based on query volume. Current plans will not be affected. Callers that use the RND to “query” telephone numbers before they are contacted with automated communications enjoy an exclusive TCPA safe harbor in the event that a call or text is inadvertently made to a reassigned telephone number without the required level of consent of the call/text recipient.
