Ms. Hinkle’s practice focuses on representing broadcast and broadband clients with respect to regulatory and operational matters, such as rulemaking proceedings, FCC compliance, and privacy law issues. She is accredited as a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) through the International Association of Privacy Professionals and is a member of the Federal Communications Bar Association. She also works with clients on contractual matters, including sponsorship agreements and sale of broadcast properties.
A West Virginia native, Ms. Hinkle completed her undergraduate degree at West Virginia University, with coursework in biological anthropology and paleontology. Before attending law school, she interned with the Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology in London, England. At George Washington University law school, she concentrated on privacy, telecom, and intellectual property law and completed five internships with various organizations, including the Alliance of Artists and Recording Companies, the National Telecommunications and Information Administration, and the FCC’s Media Bureau. Prior to joining Lerman Senter, she also worked as a legislative consultant on privacy issues and was a Privacy Analyst with Bloomberg BNA.
