Focusing on broadcast, media, and telecom clients, Ms. Berman handles a wide variety of regulatory and operational matters, such as FCC compliance issues, contest and promotional law, and event, employment and programming agreements. She also works with clients on transactional matters, including the acquisition and sale of broadcast properties.
A New Jersey native, Ms. Berman initially joined Lerman Senter in 2003 as a paralegal while completing her undergraduate degree at The George Washington University. Soon after graduating, Ms. Berman returned to her alma mater to attend law school. Ms. Berman continued to work as a law clerk at the Firm while pursuing her law degree. During law school, Ms. Berman served as an Articles Editor for the American Bar Association’s Public Contracts Law Journal and was a Dean’s Fellow in the Legal Research and Writing Program where she taught first year law students how to conduct legal research.
