Ms. Neumann’s practice focuses on regulatory issues facing the broadcast industry, including Internet-streaming, regulatory compliance, and corporate transactions for broadcast clients. During law school, Ms. Neumann served on the editorial board for the American Bar Association’s Public Contracts Law Journal and served as a law clerk in the Office of the General Counsel for the National Endowment for the Humanities. In 2007, Ms. Neumann won second place in her division in the American Bar Association/Public Contracts Law Journal Annual Writing Competition for her published note addressing private equity investment and the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Neumann interned at public television station WGBH-Boston for the television series FRONTLINE while completing a masters degree focusing on religion and public policy.
Ms. Neumann (née Hinyard) is originally from Dallas, Texas, and she is a board member of the Alumni Council for Harvard Divinity School. She currently serves as co-chair of the Alumni Engagement Committee and has been active with the Washington, DC, chapter of HDS alumni. Ms. Neumann is also a member of the Junior League of Washington.
