Mr. Bagwell’s practice focuses on providing counsel to a wide range of commercial and non-commercial broadcast entities on a variety of licensing, regulatory compliance, and rulemaking issues.  Mr. Bagwell also has significant corporate transactional experience – having assisted numerous entities acquire and divest broadcast stations.

Mr. Bagwell was a presenter for the Public Broadcasting Management Association's seminar, “Your Public File and New FCC Regulations” in April 2008 as well as for the Broadcast Cable Financial Management Association’s Distance Learning Seminar, “EEO Audits:  Are You Prepared?” in February 2006.  He  is a regular contributor to the "Ask the Expert" column in the Public Broadcasting Management Association's weekly newsletter and was a co-author of “FCC Holds That The Howard Stern Show Includes ‘Bona Fide News Interview’ Segments” published in the MLRC Media Law Letter, October 2003. 

While attending the Marshall-Wythe School of Law, he served as a Senior Articles Editor for the William and Mary Environmental Law and Policy Review.  He was the author of “The Brownfields Revitalization Amendment Act:  DC’s So-Slow Site Cleanup – Don’t It Make Your Brownfields Blue?” published in the William and Mary Environmental Law and Policy Review, Spring 2002.
