Ms. Feldmann's practice at the firm focuses on business and regulatory issues facing radio and television licensees, including publicly-traded broadcast companies, group owners and small radio and television licensees. She has assisted numerous clients with the regulatory and transactional aspects of purchases, sales, and swaps of media companies. Ms. Feldmann currently provides legal compliance counseling for broadcast companies on all aspects of day-to-day operations.
Ms. Feldmann left Lerman Senter to join the firm’s client, CBS Corporation, as Assistant General Counsel in 1998. During her tenure at CBS, Ms. Feldmann provided legal compliance counseling for CBS's 185+ radio station group and worked directly with CBS and Viacom senior management on numerous day-to-day legal issues affecting the company's radio business. Ms. Feldmann rejoined the firm in July 2001.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Feldmann worked as an associate in the legislative practices group at the Washington, DC firm of Dickstein Shapiro.
Ms. Feldmann has served as Chairman of the Federal Communications Bar Association’s Charity Auction. During law school, she was a Member of The George Washington University Law Review, and was also Student Director of the George Washington Consumer Mediation Clinic.
Ms. Feldmann resides in Washington, DC with her husband, Ramón de Castro and two children, Daniel and Amanda.
